house of night 2025

Registration is Closed for 2025

Registration for the 2026 program will open in May of 2025.

In-Person + Virtual

Hidden deep in the wilds of our dreamscapes stands the moss-cloaked House of Night. Here, the old stories haunt us in just the right places. Here, the wolf-women howl moonward and tend their altars in the name of a new once-upon-a-time. The witches gather their ghosts, as the old world falls to bones, and the forbidden folklore stirs awake.

Registration for House of Night is open only to those who have completed or are currently enrolled in one of the following programs with Danielle: The Bones & Folklore 300-hour teacher training (1), The Myth-Tender program (2), or the Wild Feminine 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training during or prior to 2020(3). There are 19 spots available, and priority is given to those registered for the Bones & Folklore program.

The House of Night training is a three-part journey into ritual, embodied movement, and the old wonder stories. Participants will learn how to facilitate the 13 “House of Night Rituals” for the purpose of transforming self and others, to define and apply their “personal myth” to their healing work, and be invited to design their own ritual narratives and initiatory experiences for both groups and one-on-one work.

In 2025, we are offering dual enrollment with House of Night and the Bones & Folklore training. Those who are enrolled in Bones & Folklore receive 1/2 off the House of Night tuition. If you are only interested in House of Night and are currently enrolled in OR have completed the Myth Tender program or the previous 300-hour yoga teacher training with Danielle, you may register here on this page. There is no application required since you would have already filled out an application for a previous program. If you would like dual enrollment with Bones & Folklore, receiving a $1350 discount on House of Night, then please apply here on the Bones & Folklore site.

Part I: The Ivy Tower (September – October 2025)

Part I is held virtually over three, consecutive Wednesdays from 11am-2pm ET. Participants are strongly encouraged to join live, but all is recorded for those who are unable to join in real-time.

In the old stories, the woodland tower is a hidden place where the shapeshifters gather, where innocence is locked away and mysteries abound. The tower is a place of tending the self and calling the ever-after closer. In the ancient Irish ogham system, the Ivy ogham speaks of weaving community from the “spiral of the soul,” of pulling fate’s holy cord from our heart and crafting a basket that can hold others from the threads our personal sorrows and joys. Part I of The House of Night training invites participants to learn and practice working with four of our “night stories” solitarily, working with personal mythic rituals sourced from these tales in preparation for the deeper facilitation work.

Rituals included in Part I: Flying between the Worlds, The Mythic Image Teacher, Fairy Tale Extraction, The Hidden House, The Archetypal Council, and the Bone’s Song

Session I: September 24th, 11am-2pm ET

Our Once-Upon-A-Time ~ Ritual and Fairy Tale Theory, The Subtle Energy System, and Calling the Ghosts

Session II: October 1st, 11am-2pm ET

The Bone’s Song and the Hidden House ~ Fairy Tale Extraction and The Personal “Wicc’d Scene” Ritual

Session III: October 8th, 11am-2pm ET

Wicked Mothers and Bird Women ~ The Shadow Rituals, Dark and Bright

There is some interim work between Parts I and II, including “fairy tale ritual” case studies, story-keeping logs, and (minimal) reading.

Part II: The Willow Hearth (February 2026-March 2026)

Part II is held virtually over three, consecutive Wednesdays from 11am-2pm ET. Participants are strongly encouraged to join live, but all is recorded for those who are unable to join.

The Willow ogham bids us hone our night vision, to see through otherworldly eyes and scry into the shadows. Part II of The House of Night training focuses on integrating the work from Part I, learning and working with four more guiding stories of “initiation,” and translating the “personal myth” into a container for the participant’s facilitator work. Here, we prepare the “hearth” ‘round which others will gather.

Rituals Included in Part II: Inanna’s Descent, Initiation of the Handless Maiden, Calling the Mist-Spirits, Spell of the Ash Fool

Session I: February 25th, 11am-2pm ET

Descent and the Sea ~ Underworld Rituals and Mapping the Ascent

Session II: March 4th, 11am-2pm ET

The Black Forest ~ Pathworking Rituals and Divination for Groups

Session III: March 11th, 11am-2pm ET

Waking the Shapeshifter ~ Body Prayer Rites and Becoming the Beast

There is some interim work between Parts I and II, including “fairy tale ritual” case studies, story-keeping logs, and (minimal) reading.

Part III: The House of Night (June 26th- June 30th 2026)

CECs available for Yoga Alliance (for in-person attendees only)

Part III is a real-life and on-the-land immersion. Participants are strongly encouraged to attend, but, in the event they are unable to attend in-person, there will be a self-paced virtual option. Please note the immersion includes meals (light breakfast, communal lunch and dinner) but is not a residential immersion (Participants will not be sleeping on the land due to construction).

The last level of The House of Night calls us to the land. Together, we will put into practice our 13 rituals, coming together for deep transformation, movement, the “pelt stories,” and the co-teaching practicum. We begin Friday evening on June 26th then, on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, meet for 3 sessions in the morning (10am-12pm), afternoon (2pm-4pm), and evening (6pm-8pm) and circle ‘round our Alchemists’ Table for communal meals in between the deep work. We end with our “ever after” on Tuesday, June 30th, our final integration circle being from 10am-12pm ET that day.

Rituals Included in Part III: The Witch’s Ladder, Fox-Woman’s Pelt, Wedding the Wolf King, The Selkie’s Spiral, and the Cailleach’s Harvest

maqs (might-be asked questions)

Q. After I complete the training, am I able to use these rituals in my work?

A. Yes. Upon completion you are a “House of Night Facilitator” and are free to weave the work into your offerings as you see fit. The only ask is to not train others to lead this work.

Q. I don’t facilitate circles or lead groups. Can I join if I’m not sure how this will weave into my work?

A. Yes, of course. Though this is designed as a professional training, it can be used for personal development purposes.

Q. For the in-person immersion, will I have the chance to coordinate with others for ride-sharing and accommodations if need be?

A. Yes, you’re added to the group upon registration and we will start coordinating travel arrangements once the virtual part of the training begins in September.

Q. Who are the teachers?

A. All three levels of the House of Night training are led by Danielle Dulsky with the support of other Hag School teachers (primarily for the on-the-land immersion)

Q. My question isn’t here. How do I ask it?

A. Email Danielle at Info@DanielleDulsky.Com
