Mythic encounters open doors to strange imaginings and initiatory dreamscapes. Meet the mage in a myth and begin to see them in your own lived-out-loud story, the stories of your people, and the world story at large. Whisper the songs of the selkie, and you begin to dream in her undersea language. Chant the incantations of the flame-tender, and a flame-tender you become.
In this 12-lesson journey through the Heathen Imaginaria, you may find yourself immersed in mythic rivers of knowing. You may find yourself softening to bizarre possibilities you never dreamt of before, and you may begin to see through Otherworldly eyes, at once human and beyond-human.
Each lesson (sent every 5 days) contains a visual story to stir the muses awake which you will experience in the “Mythic Garden,” the first room in the Heathen Imaginarium. Move to the “Witches’ Stone Circle” then for a 30-60 minute art ritual before entering into the “Selkie’s Sea Cave” where you will seek and find the sacred sigil for that week’s lesson before meeting the muse of song in the “Siren’s Sound Sanctuary.” Your visit to the Imaginarium concludes with a visit to the “Maker’s Apothecary” where you will be offered a series of writing prompts for reflection. Participants in the Three Moons course are also welcome to join The Hag’s Gallery, an optional community for participants in all-things-Heathen-Imaginarium. All content is fully downloadable.
